From the Studio: Turning Toward Summer

May arrives quietly at the studio.

The final jars of Wild Meadow and Lilac Infused Honey are beginning to leave the shelves, carrying with them the softer atmosphere of spring — meadow greens, early bloom, and cool mornings that lingered a little longer than expected.

Seasonal blends at Hilltop are never intended to remain unchanged. They belong to a particular stretch of the year and are shaped by the feeling of that moment — what is flowering, what is being gathered, and what the season seems to ask for.

As spring begins to soften into summer, the studio is shifting toward brighter infusions and longer afternoons.

Our upcoming seasonal tea, Sunfield, is now being blended in small batches.

Built around Sencha green tea, strawberry leaf, Rose of Sharon, lemon verbena, and elderflower, Sunfield was created with summer ritual in mind — equally suited to a quiet hot cup or poured over ice beside an open window.

The blend carries soft green notes with gentle floral brightness and a lightly citrus finish that feels at home in garden season.

Alongside Sunfield, two seasonal honey infusions are now arriving at the table.

Peony Infused Honey offers delicate floral character with soft sweetness and a refined finish, while Honeysuckle Infused Honey carries a lighter nectar-like quality that feels unmistakably tied to early summer hedgerows and warm evening air.

These seasonal offerings are always produced in small quantities and remain closely tied to the rhythm of the studio.

Some seasons linger. Others pass quickly.

For now, spring is taking its final bow while summer begins to pour itself slowly into the jars.
